Your proclamation promised me free liberty, now I''m tired of bein'' the victim of shame They''re throwing me in a class with a bad name I can''t believe this is the land from which I came Some things in life they just don''t wanna see Beat me, hate me, you can never break me will me, thrill me, you can never kill me chew me, sue me, everybody do me kick me, hike me, don''t you black or white me All I wanna say is that They don''t really care about us Southern Azerbaijan When the Gajar State was officially collapsed in 1925, the rest 280 sq kms of the Southern Azerbaijan territory had been included in the Mamaleke Mahruseye Iran state in the manner of the deprivation of the minimal national- human rights and afterwards the "Keshvare Shahanshahiya Iran" had been included into the Iran State. The people of the Southern Azerbaijan had 2 times rose to the massive struggle for the national freedom after 1925 and in spite of the freedom got every time for the duration of one year had eventually been defeated. The so-called territorial reform of the Tsar Russia had afterwards been realised by the regimes that had come to the leadership. After 1925 the Azerbaijani East was distributed into West Azerbaijan, Hamadan and the province of Zangan and the policy of escape of Tabriz, the historical capital city of Azerbaijan, from the artificial centre, had been put into practice. Afterwards, during the then rule, the port of Anzali had been substituted by the name of Pahlavi port, the Gazvin and Sava provinces of the Gilan had been presented to the belonging of the Central province and the administrative obedience of Tehran. The massive move of the non-Azerbaijanis to the cities of Gazvin and Hamadan had started and the number of the Azerbaijanis there was reached to 37 percent, after the Islamic Republic has been founded, this policy has been for a while stopped and immediately after the Iran-Iraq War was again continued. Gazvin and Ardabil became into separate provinces. The Astara city of the Ardabil province of Azerbaijan was given to the obedience of the Gilan province. Now, the policy of the massive move of the Kurds to several cities of the Western Azerbaijan is without pause being realised, the local Azerbaijanis are worried that 5-6 cities of the Western Azerbaijan will be turned into a separate province "Mukeyran Kurdustani Province" by the Tehran regime via separating them from Azerbaijan. However, the radical anti- Azerbaijan policy made by the Tehran regimes is still being faced the internal pressure of the Azerbaijani Turks. Although it was impossible to change the ration of the population of the Southern Azerbaijan, the ration of the Kurds in 3 cities of the Western Azerbaijan had been reached to 20 percents. Because of the hard economic crisis, the immigrants from the Azerbaijan territory to the other parts of Iran especially to Tehran are still continuing. At the present time, nearly 8 million of population of the Southern Azerbaijani live abroad more than 1 million of them are the political immigrants and live in the Europe and America, 1 million of them live in the different areas of Iran, especially in the south of Iran, 6 millions of them live in the city of Tehran. Only the 20-22 millions of the Azerbaijanis are still living in the territories of the Southern Azerbaijan. The civil struggle for the restoration of the national rights of the Southern Azerbaijani Turks including the Tehran Turks is still continuing |
