You must be kidding   desperate housewives!.. I love the the series I used to watch it on Foxlife channel 2 or 3 years ago but I lost the channel and cant receive it anymore. Then I downloaded a few parts from season 5 from the internet, but it is too costly to download videos in Iran. Again It was two weeks ago when I told a friend that I'm going to the buy the whole seasons on the internet. It's so funny.. I love it.

So you are having a great time right now.. did you get any gifts? I wish someday I could sit under a Christmas tree and open my gifts... one of them a large screen, 12 megapixels camera, full HD video recording, AGPS assisted, NFC supported brand new smart phone

"24/7" means 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

"I just need a native English speaker to be at my service 24/7" = I need a native speaker next to me and help me all the time

You're absolutely right! the more people take part in discussions, the greater fun we will have. there was a time.. 2, 3 years ago when English cloobs were more active than they are now, we had some weekly discussions and interesting topics. It's not that difficult to put 30 minutes aside to read and reply a few comments. the thing is many people take it hard on themselves

About Christmas I have no idea how it feels.. I never had a Christmas tree

you run for two hours everyday? That is really fascinating! are you a pro? it was 5 years ago the last time I run 200 meters I'm getting out of shape sitting 10 hours a day at work.. thats not good I need a forest to run in

just found a well motivated learner and am trying to encourage people to post some real comments instead of taking part in 2-word games of other topics.

I worked in Logistic company my tasks were documentation, export-import , customs duty, customer service office and cooperation with warehouse and depot.

Right now I'm at work and that's exactly what I do here. so we do almost the same job. We  import goods from Bosch and work with some shipping companies in Germany, including Muller, Conship and Fracht (you may know them).

Look.. I didn't say there's no need to learn English if you are living in a non-English European country, but when somebody is taking so many classes and spending 8 hours a day leaning English, there must be some educational or vocational purposes in that and that's what I asked her otherwise, trying to learn the native language (German in Germany) makes more sense.

After finishing my contract I have been looking for new job. I wanted improve my English knowledge because nowaday the companies are asking for english speaker namely not only basic knowledge  but also dement really more progress.you don't see one job ad without about that.

In my opinion, today are english language skills key to getting a good job in every countriy.They need to be able to speak English even when they don't need to use it as part of their job. In other word I can say English is neccessary for many people in their work, even when the job has nothing to do with it.
A student who's well motivated will be able to use all these different techniques, thats is to say everyday necessities.

You misunderstood me, Mr Nice Guy. It means that there is no reason for one not to learn English, no matter where they are in the world.

so you are in corporate world and that explains why you need to study 8 hours a day to improve your English very fast. I work in commercial department of a company in Tehran. We import power tools (drills, generators, etc) from Germany and Italy and I totally understand your concerns regarding the need for growing your English skills in a business environment. what kind of business are you working in?
