Hello everyone,

My name is Hossein Mehrara and I'm glad to be in here. So far  i'd been busy so i couldn't come and participate in topics.

Any way, I was Wondering if there is any topic regarding downloading helpfull books according to requests.

there is a library ( cloob libraray) but it seems to be a place to Introduce new titles.

P.S 

I'm going to create that Topic plz activate it if there's no such topic.

Moslem where are you honey?! I know you  are so busy with university exams but 'tis just an excuse because the situation  for almost everyone is the same! The only difference is that you study but we don't!!!

Hi to all teachers,

I'm almost a new member, though I know some of u from other cloobs

Anyway, I was wondering why this cloob is so inactive!!! This is so sad!! I see very few interesting threads!

I think we should strive to make it more exciting! The topics should be more challenging and the ones which can help teachers share ideas and talk about teaching practices and strategies based on their knowledge or experiences.

The topics with the most number of posts are some game-like stuff. Of course fun is needed and you bet, I'm always looking for fun stuff but I like it more when there are also some serious challenging discussions people can take part in!

Some of you at least have the knowledge and resources to talk about real issues and practical matters of concern to teachers! why don't you do that?

I have no idea how much this dear A z a d E h knows about Eng but she is honestly right! and also we can have a gatherin' for real!!!

how about an english-talk  gatherin or meetin for teachers?and students here?!,,althought im not a teacher,,just intrested so much in english~~~~

I do agree with you. You are right. But it seems that we are just 4-5 people who visit the cloob.

 I started some discussions, but nothing special happened. Books reviews, Early bilingualism, , quotations and the like... but....

 

Well, if you have anyhing special in your mind, plesae share, open a topic for it.

 

Wish others read your comment and do something!

Dear Moslem

I think as this club is by nature somewhere to discuss about serious issues and we dont let those rubbish discussions enter into this club we have to expect such silence among the members.

Here is Iran and most people prefer to pass their time for fun... and not to think about their jobs and their responsibilities  

I think that most teachers who are teaching English or a foreign language have learned how to teach by experience and don't tend to learn from other people or books.

There are only a few people who love their job whole-heartedly and want to be innovative and creative in their jobs.

Unfortunatelt this is the existing fact... though we have to try to change this boring atmosphere.

We can bring some of the problems that we face in the class and ask eachother's ideas about it and see which way is the best to solve that matter.

it is kindda odd to see English teachers so quiet! ain't the chatterboxness an essentiality for becoming a teacher??

Well I ain't sure English Graduates are what we need here! All due respect but not many worthy teachers are among them.

I hope that those thousands of English Language graduates in Iran  who are memebers of Cloob and claim to be teachers or linguists or translators have a glance at their own club, namely Modarresine Zabane Englisi
