Hello dear friends
I need your help,I'm a freshman ,Ma student, teaching english.I'm going to have a lecture about : what are the main differences between L2 acqusition and L2 pedagagy? I have searched some articles on the Net but I think they're not enough.
Please keep me informed if you know any sources.
Thanks in advance for your help
Hi and thanks for the good topic
I do agree with what Moslem said concerning the drills. More than three decades
ago Pauston and Bruder mentioned the three categories: Mechanical, meaningful
and communicative. I practice meaningful and communicative drills with my
students with lower level of proficiency and it did prove to be useful, but it
shouldn’t drag! I finished studying English at Iran Language Institute some 5
years ago and I do remember the time when we were doing boring things like
parroting and substituting but outside the class everything was gone! It did
help me acing the English section of the university entrance exam, but that was
the only use!
There are some good things about repetition which I’m going to say soon!
